A Good attempt at humour

Movies of South Indian stars or demi-gods , ( though I don endorse calling them that way ) are getting increasingly hilarious these days .. I never knew that a bullet aimed at you can either be used to load your pistol or can be redirected to the person who fired it.. wow .. Brilliance to the fore..right?
In another such attempted action in a South Indian flick, the hero shoots the wheels “of-an-about-to-take-off-plane”, stops the plane and bashes up the terrorists inside.
Also it was only recently that I came to know that race cars can be driven with your mouth and also that Seven SUV’s can be buried with people inside, nevertheless they can plunge into air at a (moustache) signal from the hero. Well ..if you are wondering what the aforesaid “moustache” is .. leave it .. it is not worth knowing.

So What is encouraging people to write such scripts ? I personally feel that it is the bad taste of cinema-goers that induces film-makers to bring out such junk. So it is self – introspection time for many.

I can’t restrain myself from recalling this incident although I did not want to name any of the above people … fearing resentment from fans and thereby lowering my blog’s traffic … which is already too low.
Recently Karan Johar asked Rajnikanth “ What is that Rajni can’t do ? “ , and immediately added that it was a compliment in the garb of a question . But I feel that it was mockery in garb of a question . All this happened in the NDTV Indian of the year awards.
Bollywood has it’s own share of jokes but far lesser than south Indian movies .

While laughing aloud at all this .. I just cant stop thinking as to what impact all this crap will have on quality Film-making.

The Least Acknowledged !!!

Well what do you do. . when somebody hits you for no fault of yours ????

Some Valiant guys among you will hit back . some revolutionaries ( as we can call them ) , with just mental strength , will raise up in protest … some very diffident people will just walk away with sobs …

Now Lemme know how you people will react.. When you are in a highway. .caught up in a signal and leading a battalion of Guys armed with Buses ( MTC ) , Cars , AUTOS ( Prominent among them ) .. waiting to go past the red signal , sensing that it is safe to do so .. since it is early morning and there are no pedestrians around , no vehicles around and it is safe to move on . Any Reactions ????

Well I reacted this way .. last weekend . . I thought , even though it was safe to move on , let me wait for the green light because by moving on , I would make the signals lose their utility , they would become meaningless , … Over all I was trying to be a dutiful citizen .

But the mob behind me got infuriated , showered abuses on me and wanted me to move out of their way . I din have any other option but to break the law with them ( not justifying anything, but the MTC Bus Driver abusing with whatever he could get on his mouth was a bit too much .. Hey guys self esteem matters a little to me ) .

Alas , our countrymen are fond of showing their unity in arenas like this . Is it a crime to be lawful . .. ??? “At last I walked away with sobs”…

Now tell me who is LEAST ACKNOWLEDGED?

A. A Lawful citizen

B. A Traffic Signal

Steely Resolve - A Distant Dream for many .

With the next New year fast approaching, i thought it's time to do some self introspection. If my self introspection is going to help you, why not make it a post ?
Do you remember the resolutions you made last New year ?
I know i ll get mixed responses for the above question. Most of you would say 'Yes' and a few would say 'NO'. And even those people with a positive reply wouldn't really have stuck to their resolutions.
The grassroots of the problem lies with us. We either find it difficult to comply with the resolutions or mercilessly forget it. A popular survey states that people do not want to be singled out, or in other words want to take up resolutions as a group and live up to it as a group. But is this possible ?? Not at all. Every man's resolutions is centered around his life and in most cases will not match with any other fellow being's resolution.
So in the first place stop having such notions. It is your life and you have to face it.
Secondly, keep reminding yourself that you have some resolution and you have to do justice to it. Finally, do not try to convince yourself when you aren't able to live up to it for a day. The reason is, convincing will become a habit and one fine day you will forget what you resolved.

In spite of such debates and suggestions, Steely resolve remains a distant dream for many.... even to the author of this blog.

Are you unpopular in your social circuit--- Try lending your ears ?

As promised earlier, i am coming up with my personal articles for you folks. Now don't ask me wherein my blog , i promised such things. Well i am not the only person to exhibit fallacy in this whole blogging world ..he he .
Well lets get on to the topic. We people in our own social circuits , are a witness to people being disliked for many reasons. Sometimes we ourselves are the victims.
The most prominent reason for such unpopularity is the impatience we showcase to talk. We want to keep speaking ..on and on and on. Well speaking , in itself is not the problem . The problem is not caring for the other party's speech. Whenever anybody is speaking , you tend to be preparing to speak rather than listening carefully. For that matter this is the problem with 90% of the people. Unfortunately only few are neglected.
Hmmm .. so what's the solution ????
Simple.. here on , lend your ears and care for people's opinion. Let them finish their talk, then you can proceed with a clear mind. This will earn you good repute. Your friends will love to share things with you .. coz they want a passive listener to share their problems with.

If lending your ears , will earn your popularity , do it because it is worth it ..... Isn't it ??
